About Me

A picture of my head.

Hi, I am Jasper Dijt from the Netherlands.

I am 35 years old and have been working as a Software Engineer since 2009, my first part-time job in the field. Most of my professional experience is around Java and the wider JVM ecosystem. Developing backend applications & running these applications on various public and private clouds.

At the moment I work at Lunatech as a Software Engineer.

About this blog

In my professional & private time I learned, and still learn, a lot. The goal of this blog is to share some of the insights, knowledge, and experience that I gain. With that goal and my current job in mind the focus of the blog will probably be JVM-kubernetes-backend-ish, but who knows where life & learning will take me in the future.
